What is the Volleyball Elective?

Our Volleyball Elective is an add-on to your DTS. During the elective you will be trained in skill development, working as a team, identity as an athlete, and so much more! The added focus of volleyball will allow you to participate in additional playing time throughout the week and teach you how you can use your skills and passion for the game to share the Gospel with people!

We cover a gambit of regions in the world. Our hope is that you will leave with the tools to connect deeper no matter what culture you find yourself in. 

Is there an additional cost?

Yes, the fee for the Cultural Encounter DTS elective is $110.

What if I have food allergies or a specialty diet?

No worries! If you have food allergies or have a specialty diet let us know and we will do all we can to provide the same experience of international cuisine.

 How is the Cultural Encounter DTS Elective different from the other Electives you offer?

The Cultural Encounter Elective offers additional content designed to solidify your understanding of the biblical basis for missions and help you be effective in cross-cultural missions. You will also have the opportunity to learn about food, hospitality, and religion from other cultures.
