“God is a Father in His heart for each of His children. Not by position or authority, but by choice. He longs for a relationship with each of us and for that relationship to be growing. The love of God is the foundation for everything we believe in Christianity. The Father tells us we are the apple of His eye (Deut 32:10); He joys over us with singing (Zeph 3:17); He has given us a place in His heart (Jn 14:2); He lives in our heart (Jn 14:23); and He loves us as much as He loves Jesus (John 17:23).”
The love of God is the foundation for everything we believe in Christianity.
Doug Easterday has traveled speaking on the father heart of God for over 30 years. John Dawson, former president of YWAM, said about Doug, “I think Doug Easterday has spoken at more YWAM DTS training sessions than anyone alive. The spiritual impact of his ministry is beyond measure.” Always ready for a good joke, Doug has had many pranks pulled on him by YWAM staff and students alike. Doug and his wife Joyce live close to their 3 children in Oregon.
